Jill Ervin

Jill is a fifth-generation Denver native whose life has taken her across Texas, Africa, and back home to Colorado. Her love for animals began early, thanks to her mother, and she jokes that she could ride a horse and swim before she could walk. Some of her earliest memories include riding Arabian horses around the pyramids of Giza. Her first dog, a Golden Retriever named Chivas, sparked a lifelong connection with animals.

Jill earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University before completing her diagnostic sonography certification in Dallas. She has spent the past 22 years working as a sonographer in Colorado, beginning in a hospital environment and later transitioning to outpatient care.

Over the years, Jill has rescued several large-breed dogs and cats, further deepening her passion for animal welfare. That passion, paired with her extensive ultrasound experience, ultimately led her to Focused Ultrasound Resources. She is thrilled to bring together her clinical expertise and her love for animals to support the veterinary community and the patients we serve.
