Rita Seward

SONOGRAPHER

BS, RDMS, RVT

Rita studied at Northern Arizona University, earning two bachelor’s degrees—one in Parks and Recreation Management with a focus on Outdoor Leadership and Education, and another in Photography. She eventually shifted her path toward healthcare and pursued ultrasound school, ultimately building extensive experience in hospital and urgent and outpatient clinic settings throughout Denver. There, she performed a wide variety of diagnostic exams and developed a strong passion for high-quality patient care. She is registered in Abdomen, Vascular and Obstetrics/Gynecology through the ARDMS.

A lifelong animal lover, Rita has wondered for many years how to bring her ultrasound skills into the world of veterinary medicine. Discovering FUR felt like the perfect fit, allowing her to combine her clinical expertise with her love for animals.

Outside of work, Rita enjoys hiking and backpacking, taking peaceful walks through the Bosque with her two dogs Gus and Otis, and spending time with her cats, Mook and Monte, in their backyard catio.  She is having a great time exploring her new city of Albuquerque, NM.
