Sherry holds a Bachelor's degree from Indiana University and began her career as a veterinary technician in Georgia and Colorado while also studying Radiography and Ultrasound in the human medical field. During her undergraduate studies, she also had the privilege of interning at Wolf Park in Indiana, a public education and research facility, where she worked with and studied wolves, bison, and a spirited coyote named Wild Bill!

Sherry spent many years specializing in high-risk OB medicine and later worked as a clinical applications specialist, training providers in advanced Ultrasound technology. She also taught Sonography lab courses at two CAAHEP-accredited programs in Colorado. In 2025, Sherry’s career came full circle when she joined FUR, combining her passions for animals and Ultrasound. When she is not working with FUR, Sherry loves paddle boarding with her two boys and their dogs, Oso and Diggs.
